Enrichment activities for residents
Supporting the wellbeing of residents sits at the heart of the Almshouse’s work. As part of the 700 Appeal, this project will fund enrichment activities that encourage connection, engagement, and enjoyment throughout the year.
Your support will help create meaningful experiences that enhance daily life, strengthen community, and support residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing in a warm and inclusive environment.

Extra Anniversary grants to change lives
To mark the 700th Anniversary, the Charity Foundation will deliver additional Anniversary grants through the 700 Appeal, extending the reach and impact of its charitable work.
These grants will support individuals and organisations at times of real need, helping to unlock opportunity, strengthen communities, and deliver lasting positive change.
Skinners’ Education Foundation
A biennial Skinners’ School Singing Day
The 700 Appeal will support the creation of a biennial Skinners’ School Singing Day, bringing pupils together through shared musical experience.
The event will help build confidence, teamwork, and enjoyment of music, offering young people an inspiring opportunity to connect, participate, and perform together.
Skinners’ Heritage Foundation
A digital heritage website
As part of the 700 Appeal, the Heritage Foundation will develop a dedicated digital heritage website to share the Company’s history and collections more widely.
The project will improve access, interpretation, and long-term preservation, ensuring Skinners’ heritage can be explored, understood, and enjoyed by future generations.
