Members of the Freedom enjoy an enhanced Membership, with additional Company responsibilities.
You are entitled to become a Member of the Freedom if:
- You have completed your Apprenticeship (Servitude), or
- You have a parent who is a Member of the Freedom or Livery, you are over 21 years old and were born after your parent became a Member of the Freedom (Patrimony), or
- You have been offered membership by the Court (Redemption)
Responsibilities
- Opportunity to mentor one Apprentice at a time (you will have obligations to them as their first point of contact on Company matters and for general guidance and support throughout their apprenticeship)
- Volunteering opportunities as a school governor, charity trustee, or Company committee member
- Register online to the Members’ Area and keep contact details up to date
Privileges
- Invitations to the Autumn Dinner, Summer Reception, Skinners’ lunches, Heritage Talks, and other informal and sporting events
- Receiving digital communications, including the Annual Review and quarterly eNews
- Access to an online Members’ Area and the Company’s social media platforms
