Becoming a Livery Member demonstrates a further commitment to take an active part in the common purposes of the Company, through our charitable and educational work. Members of the Freedom aged 30+ years, are annually invited to apply.
Responsibilities
- Enhanced participation in Company activities
- Connecting with Apprentices and other new Members to encourage fellowship
- Progressing your voluntary activity within a committee, a governing body, or other Company-wide roles
- Online registration to the Members’ Area and keeping contact details up to date
Privileges
- Livery Members are permitted two Apprentices at a time (you will have obligations to them as their first point of contact on Company matters and for general guidance and support throughout their apprenticeship)
- Receiving the printed Skinners’ Diary and Annual Review, as well as the Company’s digital communications, including the quarterly eNews
- Invitations to attend all Company Dinners and lunches
- Opportunity to attend Common Hall and vote in City elections
- Invitation to attend the ‘United Guilds Service’ at St. Paul’s Cathedral
