Percy Bilton Court

Skinners Lane, Sutton Road, Heston, Hounslow TW5 0QE

Percy Bilton Court is a purpose-built sheltered housing scheme for older people in Heston, in the London Borough of Hounslow.

The scheme opened in 1985 following a gift of land and a grant from the Percy Bilton Charity to the Skinners’ Almshouse Charity and a grant and loan from the (then) Housing Corporation. A major redevelopment of the scheme was carried out in 2018. Located directly underneath the Heathrow flight path, windows are triple-glazed, and BAA paid for the entire roof to be replaced during 2010 under their local ‘Vortex Protection Scheme’.

Percy Bilton Court has:

  • 38 fully self-contained independent one-bedroom flats
  • Each flat has a lounge, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom (wet room)
  • Central heating and community alarm link
  • Some flats are accessible for wheelchair users
  • Support services during the day

Other Facilities:

  • Communal lounge for social activities and meetings
  • Resident laundry room
  • Guest room with en-suite facilities
  • Minibus for weekly shopping trips, outings and excursions
  • Garden area with individual plots available for resident use
  • On-site Estate Manager (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm)

You are eligible to apply for accommodation if you:

  • Are aged 60+
  • Are in need of sheltered accommodation
  • Find it difficult to fund your accommodation from your own resources.

(The charity operates a ‘cap’ on income and capital assets, which means that individuals with high levels of savings and/or property are less likely to be prioritised. Email us for more information)

  • Priority is given to applicants with a local connection.

"The Skinners have been very helpful and listen and look after us well. I feel safe and secure, my flat is nice, and I am happy."
